Live Stream of the New School Commencement Ceremony at the University Center
Broadcast live from The Theater at Madison Square Garden

The New School's 2014 commencement ceremony will be held on Friday, May 23, at The Theater at Madison Square Garden at 11:00 a.m. The New School is delighted to present a live-streaming broadcast of the ceremony, and each graduating student is invited to request up to 10 tickets for guests who are unable to attend Madison Square Garden in person. This special off-site celebration is being offered for the first time at the New School’s brand new University Center.
Commencement is a momentous celebration for our academic community, and we are delighted to be able to offer this experience for guests that have come to NYC from around the world. Guests will experience the processional, speeches, and recessional live-streamed from Madison Square Garden, from the exquisite, state of the art Tishman Auditorium, which opened in January 2014.
Students are welcome to invite up to ten guests to the University Center live-stream event, but all guests must RSVP via this ticketing site to gain access.

WHEN: Friday, May 23rd 2014. The live-stream broadcast of the ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00am, and will end at approximately 1:00pm. Guests attending the live-stream event are asked to be at The New School University Center by 10:30am in order to take their seats.
GUEST ARRIVAL: The live-stream event will take place at The New School University Center, 63 Fifth Avenue, New York. The entrance to the University Center is on the northeast corner of Fifth Avenue and 13th Street. The nearest subway station is 14th Street Union Square, serviced by the L, N, Q, R, 4, 5, and 6 lines. The L, N, Q, and R lines are wheelchair accessible.
GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES: The University Center is wheelchair accessible.
TICKETS: Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, via RSVP only. Seating in the Tishman Auditorium is by general admission. Guests must present their ticket confirmations prior to taking their seats.
